A table made entirely and exclusively from wood. Different kinds wood, each with their own specific properties and qualities, are crafted together to create the perfect lightweight rigidity. The table top is constructed as a 3D sandwich with a core made from honeycomb (cellulose), balsa and poplar wood, finished with oak veneer. The legs are made of solid ash.
 
The product shown is the last prototype(fully handmade) before the pieces was taken into production by Arco Contemporary Furniture. The prototype shown has a 45 degree chamfer on the corners of the top which was how it was originally designed. The final production piece has radiuses.
 
The Nomad has received several international awards including the IF award 2010 and IMM interior innovation award.
